Paper Trail
A portfolio theme for people who make things with their hands. Big type, honest case studies, no page builder required.
No previews yet.
Paper Trail is a classic WordPress theme, which means it is a folder of PHP files and not a pile of shortcodes you have to maintain. Install it, activate it, and your work looks like work.
The case study layout leads with the result and puts the process underneath, because that is the order people actually read in. Images keep their real aspect ratio instead of being cropped into squares.
There is a single accent colour. You can change it in the Customizer and nowhere else, which sounds restrictive until you have inherited a site where every page picked its own blue.
Tested on a 2019 laptop and a phone from 2021. Loads in under two seconds on both with a normal host.
