Buying and licenses
What am I actually buying?
A license to use my template files on your project. You are not buying the files themselves, which is why you cannot resell a template as a template.
Which license tier do I need?
Personal for your own project, Commercial when the end product is a client's, Extended when the template is part of something you sell. If you are unsure, email me one sentence about the project.
Can I use a template for a client?
Yes, with the Commercial license. You can charge your client whatever the work is worth. They cannot reuse the template elsewhere.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If a template does not work as described, email me within fourteen days and I will refund it. I would rather refund than argue.
Using a template
Do I need a page builder?
No. The website templates are classic themes built with PHP and CSS. They work with the core editor and no builder at all.
What do I need to run a website template?
WordPress 6.5 or newer and PHP 8.1 or newer on any normal host. The Notion and Figma kits only need a free account with those tools.
Can I change the colors and fonts?
Yes, and each template has one place to change them so they stay consistent. The website templates have a single accent color on purpose.
Will it work on mobile?
Every template is built mobile-first and tested down to a 320px screen. If something breaks below that, tell me and I will fix it.
Updates and support
Do updates cost extra?
No. You get updates to a template for as long as it exists. There is no separate maintenance fee and no subscription.
How long do you support a template?
I answer questions about anything I still sell. If I retire a template, I will say so clearly and note it on the page.
Where can I see what changed?
Every template has a version history on its page, and the Changelog page collects them all in one place, newest first.
Can you customize a template for me?
Sometimes. I take two custom projects a quarter. Email me what you have in mind and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person.
